Rosimeire Aparecida Guerra and her husband Carlos helm Sitio Vargem Grande in Mantiqueira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, a 3-hectare farm obtained in 2009. Their roots in coffee run deep, with both families steeped in the industry's traditions. Nestled between 1,100 and 1,400 meters above sea level, their farm boasts an optimal altitude for coffee cultivation, where they specialize in cultivating red and yellow Catuai varieties introduced in 2010.

Despite their rich heritage and dedication, Rosimeire and Carlos face persistent challenges. Accessing markets for their premium coffee remains a constant struggle, compounded by the need to inspire the next generation to carry on their legacy in Brazilian coffee production. Nevertheless, they persist, driven by their passion for coffee and the belief that it holds the key to a better future for their family and community.
