Kiamugumo PB - Kenya

The Kiamugumo Factory is located in Kirinyaga County. It is a member of the New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society.

The cherries delivered to this factory grow on elevations of 1600 masl, on red volcanic soils, optimal for quality production.

This coffee comes from the Kiamugumo Factory, a member of the New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society. 

The New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society currently has 1,500 members. Kiamugumo factory is located in the Ngariama area, specifically in the Nyangeni sub-location of Kirinyaga County, on the slopes of Mount Kenya. To prevent contamination of local drinking water sources, all water used in the factory is treated in soak pits. The factory is managed by a factory manager and supported by permanent staff who handle duties such as weighing coffee, selecting and grading beans, paying farmers, and addressing their concerns.
