Starting his journey in 2009, Francisco turned a vision into reality by purchasing land and planting coffee after years of working abroad to save for his dream. Guided by technical training and inspired by the potential of specialty coffee, Francisco transformed his farming practices, building a solar dryer and improving his processing methods to achieve exceptional quality.

Francisco is a proud member of the Intibucá collective, a group of farmers committed to elevating coffee cultivation in the region. With support from the collective, Francisco has reinvested in his farm’s infrastructure and contributed to his community's growth. Each bag of El Durazno #1 reflects his dedication to his craft and the brighter future he is building for his family and fellow farmers in Pozo Negro.
