Buku Sayisa originates from the Buku district in Hambela Wamena, situated in Ethiopia’s famed Guji Zone. At an altitude of 2350 meters above sea level, Buku is one of the highest coffee-growing areas in the country. The name "Buku Sayisa," meaning "Blessed Valley," reflects the unique terroir that nurtures this exceptional coffee, producing beans of outstanding quality and character.

The flavor profile of Buku Sayisa embodies the classic washed Ethiopian coffee experience. Expect bright citrus notes, complemented by floral hints of bergamot and a delicate black tea finish. With a light body, the coffee is sweet and layered, offering a refined complexity that lingers on the palate. The high elevation and slower cherry maturation process contribute to its distinct sweetness and vibrant acidity, making it a true standout in every cup.

Behind this remarkable coffee is Origin Land Coffee, founded in 2022 by Abenezer Asfaw and Mikyas Alemu. With extensive expertise in Ethiopian specialty coffee, they prioritize quality, transparency, and sustainability. Working closely with farmers and washing stations across regions like Guji, Sidama, and Yirgacheffe, they ensure that every batch of Buku Sayisa reflects their commitment to excellence and the rich heritage of Ethiopian coffee.
