This lot is hand-picked and dried in a drying box. It is processed as a natural.


Jaguara coffee is produced by Natália Brito and André Luíz Garcia on their farm in the Campo das Vertentes region of Brazil. Originally founded in 2001, the farm has grown into a hub for specialty coffee production, focusing on natural processing methods to develop unique flavor profiles. With rich volcanic soil and high-altitude terrain, Jaguara cultivates varieties such as Acaia, Yellow Catuai, Yellow Catucai, and Mundo Novo. André, an agronomist and researcher at the Procafé Foundation, applies his expertise to improve farming techniques, while Natália, a cupper and trader, ensures quality and market access. Together, they experiment with fermentation and drying processes to refine their coffee’s complexity and depth.


Beyond coffee cultivation, Jaguara is dedicated to sustainability and social impact. André and Natália implement eco-friendly practices like organic nutrient management and sustainable weed control while supporting local smallholders in their transition to specialty coffee. Through their exporting company, also named Jaguara, they help producers gain access to higher premiums and international markets. Their commitment has led to the discovery and development of exceptional coffees, setting new standards for Brazilian specialty coffee and showcasing the region’s untapped potential.
